Nophi Studios, trading as Nophi Games ("Nophi", "we", "us" or "our"), explains here how personal information is handled in connection with our coming-soon website and enquiries sent to info@nophigames.com. Nophi Studios is responsible for the processing described in this policy. You can contact us at info@nophigames.com about this policy or your information.
This policy covers the website and email correspondence. Our games are in development. It does not describe data processing in any future game. Before a game launches or new features collect information, we will provide an appropriate privacy notice.
2. Information we process
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, the contents of your message, attachments and related correspondence. Please do not send sensitive information unless it is necessary for your enquiry.
When you visit the website, our hosting provider, STRATO, processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. This may include your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, access times and server error or security logs. The precise logs and their retention depend on the hosting service and its configuration.
The current website has no user accounts, forms, purchases or image uploads. It does not collect face data, precise location, advertising identifiers or payment details through those features.
3. Why we use information
We use correspondence to respond to enquiries and provide support. Where the GDPR applies, our basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact us. Where a request concerns entering into or performing a contract with you, we may process the information as necessary for that purpose.
We process necessary technical information to deliver the website, maintain reliability and investigate security incidents, based on our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the site.
We may also retain or disclose information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. If we rely on consent for an optional activity, we will explain that activity when asking for consent, and you may withdraw it at any time.
4. Cookies and analytics
The current website code does not set cookies, use browser storage or include analytics, advertising tools, external fonts or social tracking scripts.
We may add analytics in the future. Before activating them, we will update this policy to identify the provider, information processed, purposes, legal basis, retention and available choices. Where consent is required, optional tracking will remain disabled until you consent, and you will be able to withdraw consent.
This does not prevent our hosting provider from processing the technical information described above to serve and protect the website.
5. Who receives information
Service providers supporting hosting and email may process information as needed to operate those services. STRATO provides the website hosting. We may also disclose information to professional advisers or competent authorities where necessary for a legal obligation or the protection of legal rights.
We do not sell personal information collected through this website. Clicking Contact Us opens your own email application; any message you send is also subject to your email provider's handling of information.
6. International transfers
Where a service provider processes personal information outside the European Economic Area, we must use an appropriate legal transfer mechanism when required, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, together with any necessary safeguards. 9. Security and children
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information and risks involved. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
This coming-soon website does not offer child accounts or invite children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information that should be removed, please contact us. Any future game's age requirements and privacy practices will be explained before release.
